Acrylic on prefabricated plexiglass sculpture representing the endangered white Kermode Bear, commonly known as the Spirit Bear.
Trees of the ancient forest bear silent witness to countless world events, at one with the spirits of the land, air and sea. A seamless succession of life proclaims the harmony uniting the whole, the oneness of all, where each being supports the other in a wondrous tapestry of perfect balance. In this work, the fierce eagle nurtures tender new life, the orca is one with the tree, and fish fraternize with magnificent, winged creatures.
